I really like this store! They have a large selection in all categories, at fairly affordable prices and good quality products. So far there is always everything you need - quite fast shipment, quality in line with expectations, good price, and cheap shipment (about 2-5 dollars). I will definitely order something again. I recommend shopping in this store.
Before the pandemics I'd give them 4 stars, maybe. But after the pandemics (July 2020), not more than 1 star. Recently placed an online order with 18 items, but after one week 15 of them just got cancelled. All the items I needed the most... So VERY frustrating...

I paid $250 for 8 items for my daughter from the Athleta Store (a division of the GAP), however, the size match-up was way off and I had to return all the items for a simple exchange from Medium to Large. That's it! Very simple, easy? NOPE!. I do this all the time with Adidas, Under-Armour, and other stores, and the exchanged items size are often shipped out immediately on confirmation of the returned items with those stores (I returned a top to UA the same day with the GAP/Athleta items, and I am receiving the replaced item in the same week). The 8 items I returned to Athleta were delivered within 3 business days, and I was told that it will take 7-10 business days to process and then the exchanged items will be shipped out, thus, meaning it will take at least 3-4 weeks to receive the corrected/exchanged size unless I paid to place another order for the same items (with corrected size) while the returned items are being processed, thus, tying up $500 of my money. That is insane and very backward. Not only such, but they are also very misleading in their size analysis, my daughter wears a medium from every other brand except this one. By the time this is processed, it's very unlikely I will be able to re-purchase the correct size items. What a horrible experience.
I had the worst experience with Gap. I made an order and waited two months just to realize the order was returned to Gap. They didn't deliver as "UPS couldn't find my apartment number" even if there is my name on the buzzer of course. After that GAP didn't bother to send me email that the order was shipped back and even didn't bother to REFUND my money. So one month after they shipped the order back (and I was checking the tracking number meanwhile) I found out all of this. GAP customer support said they are sorry and offered 20% off for my next purchase! And that's not the end. I tried to apply 20% code for the next purchase and the code DIDN'T WORK. So there will be no new purchase at Gap, Old Navy and Banana Republic ever.
I love the website sales are always available they have big men sizes only set back you have 2 hours to buy.
Dear Gap, when you send a customer the wrong item then YOU should correct it, not leave it to the paying customer to go and do your bidding while standing in line at the post office or store to return your mistake before you will even send the correct item. Send a return label with the correct item and make it easy on the customer. The shipping label doesn’t even have the correct item on it. I’m too exhausted to call your customer service back and explain to them how your trading has failed them that I will simply be disputing the charges.
If people are ordering online it is because they don’t have time to stand in line for you, or shop at the store. This is not genius but you do need some genius because from reading the other reviews it is obvious that whom ever is in charge of your customer service practices should be fired. A long going issue at this point.... while others are catering to online services during COVID Gap remains stagnant and ignorant of good service and reputation.
The site tells you that you get free shipping over $50, and that you can select that during checkout - but when you pay with Paypal, it doesn't honor it and literally just places the order without giving you any shipping options whatsoever... AND THERE'S NO WAY TO CANCEL IT! They don't even have a useful way to contact them outside of their "normal" business hours, so there's literally nothing you can do but suck it up.
I grew up with Gap clothes as a kid (and other Gap Inc. brands like Banana Republic) - it's bad enough that the prices in absolutely no way reflect the exponentially declining quality, but this is the last time I'm ever buying anything from that company. Ridiculous.
It was my first and last time shopping from Gap. I had the worst experience ever. I placed an order with Gap online Canada, and it claimed to ship the item within 7 to 9 days. Right now, it has been over a month and I still did not receive any thing yet, because after I purchased the item, they put that the item is BACKORDERED. The store keeps changing the shipping date and last time I checked it when it should be delivered I realized that they added an extra month forward until shipping arrival!
Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews before I ordered the product. I was shocked that Gap has online reviews ranging from (MEDIUM TO TERRIBLE), and the company has not done anything to clean up its image.

I purchased an item from GAP that had an additional 10% off promotion. I clicked the 'Tap to apply' and after the purchase was completed, I realized the extra 10% didn't come off the purchase price. I called customer service and the woman adjusted the purchase price. The item has since gone on sale, so I called to get price adjustment and told I couldn't because one was already applied. I explained it wasn't a fault of mine, but the systems and really wasn't a price adjustment at all. Still, customer service refused and said she would have the manager look it over. I haven't heard anything back. Being penalized because the companies system was working properly is just ridiculous.
Miserable experience!
I ordered 5 pairs of underwear at the the Gap store, and a week later I get a notice that the pack of three are on back order? Then I received 1pair and the last pair have been stuck somewhere for weeks? I out of 5... what a joke!

I received a gift for my birthday ( wrong size)go to exchange the item and find out the nearest store is 100 miles away in either direction . Guess I won’t be a Gap Shopper anymore , sad
I enjoy this fashionable good designed clothes. Though the prices are rather high, i can afford it. It's pleasant to wear good quality clothers made of natural fabric.
Got my delivery on time, no questions about Gap online market. I will leave an order again sometimes.

During the pandemic, it is actually impossible. They do not have customer service reps and the call just simply says they cannot help you.
